Full year elite at Pittsburgh Superstars is the full year elite competitive program in our gym. Full year elite teams try out in May and typically compete in eight to ten competitions from November to April, typically four requiring overnight travel. Full year cheer is the greatest time and financial commitment, and requires two to three days a week in the gym and includes one weekly tumbling class in the cost of tuition. If you would like more info on our full year cheer program, please contact the owner Aimee Nicewarner.
Full year prep is the full year non travel program at Pittsburgh Superstars. Full year prep teams try out in May and typically compete in six to eight competitions from November to April, none requiring overnight travel and all within a driving distance from Pittsburgh. Full year prep is a great way to transition into a full year cheer schedule, with less of a time and financial commitment than full year elite cheer. Full year prep requires one practice day a week and includes one weekly tumbling class in the cost of tuition. If you would like more info on our full year prep cheer program, please contact our prep program director Kaylee Kenz.
Half year prep at Pittsburgh Superstars is the half year cheer competitive program in our gym. Half year teams try out in the Fall and typically compete in five to seven local competitions from January to April, none requiring overnight travel and all within a driving distance from Pittsburgh. Half year cheer is less of a time and financial commitment than full year cheer teams. Half Year cheer requires one practice day a week (typically on a Saturday morning) and includes one weekly tumbling class in the cost of tuition. More info can be found on our half year cheer page, or by contacting our prep program director Kaylee Kenz.
Tumbling classes at Pittsburgh Superstars are available five to six days a week, depending on the season. All ages and levels are welcome from beginner to advance, and run by rolling enrollment, which means you can register at any time. Registering for a weekly tumbling class requires an annual registration fee and monthly tuition. More information can be found on the tumbling page or by contacting our tumbling director, Dana Thomas.
If you would like a one on one session with an instructor to work on specific skills, a private lesson may be right for you. Private lessons typically are for tumbling, but also can be for stretching, stunting, jumps or conditioning. If you are not a current member of a cheer team or tumble class, taking a private lesson requires an annual registration fee. For more information and scheduling, contacting our tumbling director, Dana Thomas.
